ReadyMade by Shoshana Berger and Grace Hawthorne: Anti Burnout Book Club!

16th January 2025

This collection of ReadyMade inspired ideas includes some really easy DIY projects using household items. If you're in a bit of a making slump this would be a great, flick through book to take a look at!

It's a slightly conceptual book, meaning whilst a lot of the ideas are do-able, there are some that are rather questionable. It will definitely get your brain ticking. Sometimes thinking 'I wish i came up with that!' and other times 'How did anyone come up with that?'

To give you a taste of some of the project ideas: the lace fruit bowl, Windshield fire screen and a colander light sconce. Thinking about it, if you've just moved house and you don't have any furniture - this book might not be a bad shout for some cheap, DIY statement pieces!

If you'd like to give it a look, you can find it in the AUP Library under section 745.5 BER

Would like more detail in the post but I like the idea and illustration!
