BE: Tell us a bit about yourself:
MM: I'm a 3rd year illustration student [At Arts University Plymouth] who has recently been trying to get into comic/zine making.

BE: Can you give us a glimpse into a recent project you've been working on?
MM: Recently I have finished a comic called Dust Bunny and Soot Boy for my 601 project and this comic was influenced by Children affected by war. It's a 10 page comic following Soot Boy and Dust Bunny as they try to navigate the confusing impacts of war, which unfortunately many children in the world have to do.

BE: What would you say is your biggest anti burnout tip when it comes to making work?
MM: Indulge in things you enjoy even if it's unrelated to your work. This is where you could find encouragement in your creativity. It's okay to go off track sometimes.
